Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema said he was happy with the results of the meeting with Thabo Mbeki at the former president’s Houghton home on Monday.

“We are leaving here confident that the issues raised with him will convince him to do the right thing on August 3,” Malema told reporters outside Mbeki’s home.

Malema said they introduced the leadership of the EFF and spoke about the elections.

“We came to ask him to vote for the EFF, because we do the same with everyone else,” Malema said.
