Mpofu will not represent EFF at Gauteng legislature

News24/Sapa, 12 May 2014

Johannesburg – The Economic Freedom Fighters’ Dali Mpofu will not be going to the Gauteng legislature, the party said on Monday.

“Following the meeting of the central command team of the EFF that sat this morning, the leadership has accepted commissar Dali Mpofu’s request not be deployed in the Gauteng legislature,” spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi said in a statement.

The party said the decision was granted upon an assessment of Mpofu’s role in the Farlam Commission that was entering a “significant phase”.

Ndlozi said Mpofu, the party’s Gauteng premier candidate in the past elections, asked to be allowed to focus on the building of organisational structures.

“Commissar Dali Mpofu remains a committed member of EFF and shall continue to serve as a member of the central command team responsible for justice and special projects,” he said.

  1. Dear admin, i trust that my ordeal will reach the leadership of the party:
After I published my book on mining nationalization in South Africa titled; South African Mining Nationalization, I started encountering problems with the employer Petra mines, I have been working under the spotlight ever since I published this book, they have been trying to find any wrong doing against me and failed, until last year 2018 January after my supervisor fraudulently used my signature to issue an illegal internal induction license, i only came to know about this after i was informed by the internal investigator who called me to his office to notify me that there is investigation unfolding against my supervisor who has fraudulently copied my signature and issued a license, he then, informed me that he will come back to me after a month to let me know about the investigation process, 1 month down the line, I was never kept posted, as I was very concerned about my safety, I went back to the investigating officer to seek further advise as to how far this process will still take as I do not longer feel safe working under the supervisor who could do such a horrible thing, if anything went wrong implicating a licensed employee I could face a jail term if I ‘m found to be a signatory to the illegal issuing of that particular license. When I asked about the turnaround investigation process I was shocked to be informed that the matter has been out to rest because another emppiyee who was involved in arrangement for this illegal issuing has just resigned and therefore, my supervisor cannot be alone to be faced with this conduct. I then realized that I’m actually in trouble, having reported the matter to the dmr made no big difference so far, I reported this matter to the head office of the party through adv Kwena Manamela but since this was reported, I’ve never received any formal advice other than watsapp message from the adv Kwena Manamela informing me that they are not going to assist me on my ccma case. I then, request for your political intervention. My book holds a clear critique that indeed, we need to nationalize S.A. mines and I also sighted other examples within Petra operations which they are not happy for the fact that I mentioned them.
I can be contacted on my details known to the admin of this page.
